Megaman Low energy compact fluorescent GU10 lamps are the very efficient replacements for conventional halogen GU10. The low energy lamps tend to be longer than the halogen versions and this is not usually a problem if the lamp holder is NOT in a fixed position, ideally the lamp should be help in place by the front bezel thus the additional length is taken back into the fitting. If the lamp holder is a fixed position the additional length will cause the lap to protrude from the fitting.
