Fluorescent lamps LT-T8 COLOURLUX plus ET – IGLOO Fluorescent lamps are designed to produce maximum luminous flux at temperatures of 25°C or 35°C. If temperatures are higher or lower, then the light flux is reduced. So that energy-saving fluorescent lamps could be used outside this range, the lamps were specially adapted and fitted with an additional glass protective tube. In this version the lamps achieve maximum light flux at ambient temperatures of approximately 5°C, and are therefore suitable for use at low temperatures. In new installations or lighting plans the number of lights and therefore energy consumption can be reduced, and existing lights may no longer need to have all lamps replaced in order to maintain the same lighting levels.
