Information about QIR Quartz Infra-red Lamps with Straps
Quartz infra-red lamps with straps were originally developed by philips for industrial used mainly industrial, drying, PET and occassionaly for keeping food ward. Some of these have a built in reflector to help direct the heat in a 180 degree arc.
Lamps with straps require some effort to replace but trhe benifit is that they are pricisly located so that the heat can be tightly controlled.
