Information about bare Quartz Infra-Red Lamps

What is the use of quartz infra-red lamps with leads ?

Infra-red Quartz lamps with leads are either higher wattages or early lamps. Modern installations tend to use R7s connectors to make replacement easier. These lamps are usuallly used for professional catering but some of the higher wattages are used for PET bottle production. There are other uses such as industrial drying.
