Absolutely! LED Golfball lamps are a brilliant alternative to traditional incandescent or halogen golfball lamps. They reach full brightness instantly the moment you switch them on, unlike some older lamps that take time to warm up. Plus, they use around 1/10th of the energy of conventional bulbs, making them highly energy-efficient and cost-effective.
Modern LED golfball lamps are designed to closely resemble traditional lamps in appearance, while offering a much wider range of colours. You can now choose from ultra-warm 2100K to daylight 6500K, with the standard domestic colour being 2700K. For those who prefer a shade closer to halogen, there are also limited 3000K options available.
Dimming is possible with compatible LED dimmers and lamps. Some older dimmers may work, but many can cause flickering. If flickering occurs, it’s essential to switch off the lamps immediately to prevent damage. Upgrading to a proper LED dimmer ensures smooth and reliable dimming performance.
